just a quick update on how im doing!

ahhh..i have to go meet nengjie n qikun n eugene in KAP for GPP meeting in like an hr's time n i havent done my research yet!

anyway training's getting better for me.

at least now i can fight e fatigue better wid lesser things weighing on my mind.

but haoxia was saying he may not put me into e comp in may.

im fine wid tt but im scared he wun put awyong in!

HE MUST PUT AW YONG IN! cos she;s good!

and last saturday we went over to HUIYING's house for her birthday celebration!

HULALA!!!!!

i didnt go school today=X

cos i just felt so tired n lazy after e hectic weekend!!
n being e nice understanding ger i am,
i painfully remorsefully sacrificed my WONDERFUL monday schoollife for my body to slack...nahhh i mean err REST! =D

haha.
this morning i slept all e way till nine! (jealous jealous?)
so at nine i happily made my way to e polyclinic which is just opposite my house.

lo n behold!!!
when i stepped into e polyclinic it was PACKED!!!!!!!!
packed wid ppl coughing.sneezing.scratching their legs n armpits.Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!
I EVEN SAW ONE UNCLE PICKING HIS NOSE N CONVENIENTLY FLICKING E BROWN MASS (yes! its BROWN i saw it wid my own eyes!) which landed conveniently on an indian lady's............. HAIR!!
and it got stuck n dangled there.OMGOSH!

AHHH!!!!!
if its me i'll turn around.pick up e brown hazard on my hair.
grab e uncle by his throat.force open his mouth.
AND MAKE HIS SWALLOW HIS OWN BROWN CREATION!
make him eat it AH!

anyway ive been occupied wid canoe trainings n competitions this past week.
so i cant really find time to update my blog!!!!!

OKOK.

i just came back from macritchie after e NATIONALS YOUTH events.

its been an AMAZING experience=)

all e different Jcs n secondary schools turned up.
colourful boats dotted e machritchie waters.
tanned muscular canoeists clogged up e sidewalks.
schools cheered for their teammates in unison.
such an eyopener for me.

i absolutely love canoeing now.
`love how e 6 of us would survive thru e tough trainings.
`love the team spirit n bonds tts gradually strengthening each day.
`love all my cranky seniors n our fat but hunky coach haoxia.
`love the speed n momentum on k2` n my encouraging partner awyong!
`love the waters.my new playground.

sports has nv been my arena in secondary sch yrs.

and i'd been rather lost when i came to jc wid a uniform group background.
still remember i've never even considered canoeing during e cca openhouse.
i'd frowned n grimaced at e dark n muscular seniors who looked intimidating to me at tt time.
i'd almost joined oac.and even joined em on e orientation hike to ubin.

somehow by a twist of fate i ended up in canoeing.
cos i met evonne at e canoe cca bench during e openhouse n she was being bugged by huiwen who was in her senior class!
evonne had no choice but to sign up for it.n i happened to be nearby.
so i playfully wrote down my name as well w/o giving much thought to it.
i practically wrote down my name for all e ccas kay!

and serene.zhiyun both signed up as well.
but guess wad?! during e first trial session all of em backed out.
so naturally i din even felt like gg.
but tt day i happened to stay back for oac meeting so i decided to drop by at e track.
and.
i met this bunch of gers who were all super noisy n hyper.
dey r so full of energy n their frenliness kept me addicted to all e training sessions=)

now im ADDICTED to canoeing.
though e j1s only consist of 6 gers--

okay so for e competitions these past 2 days.

i partnered wid awyong on k2` for 2 events.
the 1000m yesterday was our FIRST EVER race.
felt all jittery n tensed up.fearing tt we'd capsize in e middle of e competition lane.
we saw many boats capsizing n being disqualified.i cant imagine tt happening to me.
but yesterday we managed to complete e race rather smoothly with only slight hiccups.
and i could feel e speed during our final burst.
haha.. sad to say we din get into e semifinals!
BUT for me its an achievement.cos we've only been on e K2 for less den 10 times.7 times in fact!
so we know where we stand among e rest of e competitors.
we are winners in our own rights!

today.
the 500m race totally screwed up.n i mean totally screwed.
IT WAS DISASTROUS.
initially i was still gladdened by e fact tt im less anxious before e race cos this time i know wad to expect.
but during e five minutes when we were aligning e boat in e lane n waiting for e startcount.
my left leg suddenly went numb.numb.numb.
couldnt kick when i twist my body.
after e initial few strokes i totally lost e rhythm.
e boat rocked n lost its balance.
it tilted to e left n we were on e brink of capsizing.
i panicked.but
awyong slapped e water n balanced e boat back.

thruout the whole race e boat was tilting precariously to one side.
n i cant feel e boat at all.
i even panicked when i see all e other boats gaining a wide distance frm us.farfar away in front.
and the njc gers their timings were damn distracting!grr...
the only good part of e race was when we're ard e 200m mark.
e strokes were synchronized n powerful.i can practically feel myself gliding on waters=)
how i wish we can maintain tt momentum!

but by e time we reach e finishing pt we almost capped AGAIN~
so unsurprisingly we came in last for tt raceset.

our seniors did well.
k2 n k1 seniors all managed to get into e finals.
but din manage to clinch top 3.
nevertheless we'r still damn proud of em.
for e first time.
i see e fire in their eyes when dey approach e finishing line.

ok.canoeing aside.

i realise tt ive been kindda neglecting my studies.
wid canoe taking up most of my time n constantly being distracted by other stuff.
now come to think of it.
its no wonder my mum's been so unhappy recently.
she was so pissed tt she threatened to cut my pocket money.
and now she refuse to pay for my phonebill n newsweek.when she'd promised to previously.

hmmm..and i just realise tt its APRIL!

oh my! its like so fast! one third of 2006 is gone!
haha..and this yr april fool happened to be on a saturday!
i've no chance to show off my talent at playing pranks on ppl!
sat competition all my seniors tensed up n serious.not an appropriate time to play pranks!

haha...so did any of my dear KUKU gullible frens fall for any tricks?
